Side Lamp

This project required a high level of precision, technical understanding, and material fluency. Each lamp component was developed through a combination of metal casting, machining, and finishing techniques, demanding both creative and mechanical problem-solving. From forming wax molds and controlling ceramic shell coatings to managing high-temperature metal pours and post-casting refinement, the process called for patience, attention to detail, and an intuitive grasp of material behaviour. Achieving the final sculptural form also relied on accurate welding, bending, and assembly, balancing structural integrity with aesthetic refinement to produce a functional, sculptural piece that reflects the craftsmanship behind every stage of its making.
